A great walking and biking trail. The Blackstone River Bikeway extends for 17 miles and is still being expanded. The bikeway winds next to a quiet river on one side and wooded areas and meadows on the other.
Be aware that there tend to be more bicycles on this trail than walkers, so be sure to stay to one side especially if in a group or with a dog in tow.
It is all flat terrain and has a great ‘select-a-size’ quality. There are benches scattered about and mile markers to track your progress. Truly a great walk if you feel like just a mile or much more.
