A great destination for a casual, leisurely hike. Tucked away near Shirley, this town forest is a great retreat from the busier towns in surrounding areas.
Read MoreHockanum Hill Overlook Trail in Warwick, MA provides a short hike up a hill in the woods. The hill does have a top, but it isn't too scenic during most of the warm months of the year due to lots of foliage blocking views. This could be a good, quick additional hike for those visiting one of the other many state forests in the area.
